Legal
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how KpopPhotocard.com collects and uses information when you browse the site, create an account, save cards, follow artists, use collector updates, or subscribe to emails.
Information We Collect
When you create or use a collector account, we process your email address, account identifier, sign-in provider, username, profile photo if provided, favorite groups, followed artists and members, saved cards, and account and email preferences. Firebase Authentication handles email/password and Google sign-in. We also collect an email address and optional favorite group when you subscribe to collector updates.
We also collect limited technical information automatically, including device, browser, page view, referral, and interaction data. This helps us understand site performance, prevent abuse, and improve the price guide experience.
Public Profile And Private Account Information
Your public profile contains your username, profile photo and favorite group choices. Your email address, sign-in information and account preferences are not part of that public profile. Saved cards and followed artists are used for your account features and are not included in the public profile.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate KpopPhotocard.com, provide price guide and educational content, keep you signed in, save your cards and preferences, personalize Home updates around the artists and members you follow, send account emails and requested updates, measure site performance, improve search and navigation, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use submitted email addresses to send unrelated marketing without consent.
Analytics, Ads, And Service Providers
We use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand page views, referrals, device and browser details, and how people interact with the site. For signed-in users, we associate PostHog activity with a Firebase account identifier to understand journeys such as signup, onboarding, login, card saves and following. We also use account identifiers in diagnostic logs to investigate failures. We use this information to measure traffic, find technical problems, and improve KpopPhotocard.com.
We also use service providers for hosting, email delivery, spam prevention, and advertising. These may include Firebase, Resend, Google reCAPTCHA, Google AdSense, and similar infrastructure providers. These providers process information under their own privacy terms when they help us operate the site.
Cookies And Similar Technologies
KpopPhotocard.com and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies for analytics, security, session behavior, ad delivery, and site functionality.
You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Some site features may work differently if cookies or similar storage are blocked.
Advertising Choices
When Google ads are shown, Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies to select ads based on previous visits to this site or other websites. These advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize advertising across sites.
You can manage personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also visit YourAdChoices to learn about participating advertising companies and their opt-out options. These choices do not necessarily remove all advertising.
Email Updates
We send account emails such as email verification and password reset messages when needed. If you enable the weekly digest, we use the artists and members you follow to select collector updates. Newsletter subscriptions use your email address and optional favorite group. You can turn off the weekly digest in account settings or use the unsubscribe link in update emails. Unsubscribing from updates does not stop necessary account or security emails.
We may keep basic subscription records so we can honor unsubscribe requests and maintain delivery records.
Children's Privacy
KpopPhotocard.com is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us through the channels listed in the footer so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
Data Retention And Choices
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
You may request that we review, update, or delete personal information you provided by contacting us through the channels listed in the footer.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. If we make material changes, we will update the date on this page.
