Safe Trading & Prevention
Protecting your collection is more important than growing it. This KCC safety guide teaches you how to verify proof, spot fake variants, and avoid scammer tactics.
Verification Basics
Video Proof with Tag
Static photos are easily faked. Always insist on a 360° video under light with a physical paper tag showing the seller's handle and today's date.
Reference Check
Search their handle across Discord, IG, and Twitter. Check "Proofs" highlights for consistency in handwriting and packaging style.
Red Flags to Block
Sellers refusing to use tracked shipping for high-value cards.
Prices that are significantly below current market price (Bait-and-Switch).
Poor quality photos that hide the condition of the card edges.
Standard Packaging Requirements
Collecting is a shared responsibility. When shipping, you must meet the community standard to ensure cards arrive in “Mint” condition.
Never Pay via F&F for strangers: “Friends & Family” payments offer zero buyer protection. If you are dealing with a new seller, always use Goods & Services or a protected platform like Mercari.
